Here are a few things we fell in love with -
Although you can't tell from this picture, the clock is probably 2 1/2 feet tall by 18" or so and the picture was maybe 3' x 3'. I'm trying to figure out where I could put something in my house, but alas, all my walls are full! Of course that problem can be easily remedied.
This little blue and gold bird was Leigh's favorite.
I couldn't pass up this Keep Calm sign for $4.97. Leigh said I could make it but by the time I bought a frame it would have cost me more than this. It will hang in the craft room.
Fell in love with these sunflowers that were made out of newspaper. I'm going to see if I can make some for fall. Wouldn't they be great in a fallscape or large crock?
Of course, you know I love owls. Loved this adorable picture.
Ok, so we like birds - can you tell? I just realized that almost everything we liked had birds of some sort.
This little owl made it home with us and only cost $5. He was too cute.
I love Kirkland's also, we had a store open up just before Christmas. I also love Homegoods. Do you have a Homegoods near you? Since this is a post about what you love you might want to link it to my linky party called Our Favorite Things. The link is http://mylifesatreasure.blogspot.com/2012/06/our-favorite-things-link-party-2.html
ReplyDeleteYes Kari, we do have a Homegoods and that is really my absolute favorite store. We have a brand new one that is a separate store from the TJ Max next to it.
DeleteThanks for the invite! We will link up for sure!
Thanks for linking up and becoming a new follower. I could do a lot of damage at Homegoods, hubby knows not to let me run loose in there
DeleteI've been. I love those sunflowers:)
ReplyDeleteI can't decide if I should just buy them or try to make them ???? Sometimes I spend more money attempting to recreate something than if I just purchased it in the first place. Oh well, girls gotta have fun!
DeleteOh we love Kirklands too. My daughter and I went twice the weekend before she left. I really like their stuff. So many things and so little money.
ReplyDeleteAnother favorite of ours is Home Goods. We have a brand new one that is a complete separate store from TJ Max. Some of them are actually inside TJ Maxx, but this one is the same size as the TJ Max it is connected too. They have great stuff and it changes constantly. If you ever make it down to Atascocita you should definitely stop in.
