So, here's my latest Pinterest inspired project!!
This is a recipe from Martha Stewart and it is super easy and delicious.
Roasted Cabbage Wedges
1 tablespoon plus 2 more tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 medium head of cabbage cut into 1"slices
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1 teaspoon caraway or fennel seeds (I didn't have either and used celery)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush a cookie sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place cabbage slices on baking sheet. Brush tops with remaining oil and season with salt, pepper and your choice of seeds. Bake for 35 minutes until cabbage is tender.
The only thing I think I would do differently is to add some bacon! Everything is better with Bacon!
Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! I'm refinishing my bedroom furniture and hope to have it posted soon.

Do you bake it uncovered?
ReplyDeleteYes ChanTell - bake it uncovered. This reminds me that I need to pick up a head of cabbage. It is really really good!
DeleteRefinishing the bedroom furniture is the most concern factor when you want to redecorate your house. Couple of designs attract me so much. I hope you will post some bedroom furniture design on your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Brush a cookie sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place cabbage slices on baking sheet. Very effective speech. But why you uncovered it?
