Quick and Easy and very appropriate for our neck of the woods. These are about the only kind of snowmen we have here in Crosby!
Took all of about 30 minutes to wire the 3 wreaths together and decorate. The scarf is just a length of velour and the hat is a foam hat from Michaels that I cut in half and hot glued on to the top wreath. I stuffed the gloves with plastic grocery stacks and stuck them on to branches that are wired in to the middle wreath.
This snowman should last for many years to come! Now it's back to decorating - one more tree to get up and decorated and then we are done! Hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas season!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! We love it too! Merry Christmas!
DeleteThis is adorable! I love the hat. What a great idea to cut a foam one in half. It worked perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Candace. My only fear about the foam hat is that the sun will bleach it out, but I can always paint it! He is so festive looking right by the front door and makes me smile every time I go in the door. Leigh thinks we need to add some lights to him though. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
DeleteTHAT is adorable!!! What a great idea! Julia
ReplyDeleteWish I could take credit for it, but I think I saw it in a magazine! But he is adorable!
DeleteOh he's cute!
ReplyDeleteCute and forever green! Thanks for stopping by and wishing you a Merry Christmas!
DeleteOh! I just love him! I think you should name him ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I think we will call him Mr. Gene, the green snowman!
