After packing up all the Christmas decorations, I thought it might work on the plant shelf - what do you think?
I love old stuff, as you can tell, and think it is perfect there. The plant shelf overlooks the living room so it will be visible from my favorite spot.
I just love it when something I envision turns out better than I expected! Isn't Mr. Sock Monkey adorable? My Mother-In-Law made him for me several years ago and he is our family mascot.
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. The sun is shining here for what feels like the first time in a month! Happy Sunshine Saturday!
Oh goodness, this turned out SO cute! I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Link Up this week!
Thanks so much Jess and thanks for hosting the fabulous party!
DeleteI love this saying! So true! That sock monkey is just precious!
ReplyDeleteHe's one of the favorite things in our house! Thanks so much for stopping by and come back soon!
DeleteI absolutely love this, and your lettering is perfect! Mine never turns out as good. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Snickerdoodle! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wish my lettering was that good. I love the items you surrounded it with it too. It perfectly complements the chalkboard without overpowering it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Rachel. I just love this chalkboard and I'm so glad that I thought of putting it out on the plant shelf. I think I'm going to change out the saying each month. Chalk lettering does take a while for me, but I'm sure it will get easier with time! Hope you have a marvelous week!
